England - Yorkshire Dales to Lake District

It was quite a pleasant walk as we made our way back to Fountains Abbey ruins. Up until the 1600s, before becoming part of Studley Royal Estate, the abbey estate was passed down through several generations of Sir Richard Gresham’s family.
